Stay as active – or tranquilo – as you’d like on our lush tropical island.
With everything there is to see and do at Laguna Reef Resort, it’s hard to believe you’ll find any time to relax. But don’t worry. We’re sure it won’t be a problem. After all, when you’re here, you can’t help but stay tranquilo.

The following are just a few of the many activities offered at our tropical waterfront resort. For information on these or any others, including guided island tours, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-888-273-7262, or email us at info@csdpanama.com.
Beach
Sand, sun and waves are yours to enjoy at Laguna Reef Resort. Bask in the warm Caribbean sun on our secluded inland beach, or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on our soft white sand volleyball courts.
Diving
Learn how to scuba dive in the calm, crystal waters of our lagoon, or take a dive excursion to one of the nearby unspoiled and colorful Bocas reefs. Snorkeling and scuba are also available right off the shore of Laguna Reef Resort.
Fishing
Because of the region’s trophy-size sportfish, the International Sportfishing Tour regularly competes near the islands on Panama’s Pacific coast. Of course, the tropical waters surrounding Isla Bastimentos and Bocas del Toro are also home to several species of great game fish, making your stay here the fishing experience of a lifetime. Best of all, many of the local restaurants will even prepare your catch for dinner that same evening.
Game and Exercise Room
The Laguna Reef Clubhouse is open to all residents, and includes a well-equipped exercise room, arcade, two pool tables, a ping-pong table, game tables and a convenient grill and juice bar.
Hiking
Imagine having one of the world’s most lush and diverse tropical rainforests as your own private backyard. At Laguna Reef Resort, over two kilometers of groomed trails are yours to explore. You’ll marvel at the exotic sights and sounds as you walk beneath the forest canopy, while living in harmony with nature. Colorful toucans, two-toed sloths and iridescent rainforest butterflies are just a few of the new neighbors waiting to make your acquaintance at your new Caribbean oceanfront condominium.
Ocean Kayaking
Laguna Reef Resort has kayaks available for you to explore the local islands and diverse tropical shorelines of Bocas del Toro and Isla Bastimentos.
Pool
Unwind in one of our tropical resort’s two private pools: one features a swim-up bar, while a smaller, shallower pool is perfect for our younger guests. Both are located just outside the clubhouse. If you’d prefer a bit more privacy, follow a coconut palm-covered sandy trail from the pools to our secluded beach.
Snorkeling
Bright neon-colored reefs extend for miles in every direction from Laguna Reef Resort, enabling snorkelers to encounter countless varieties of exotic tropical fish in the shallows without having to dive deep below the surface. It’s a unique opportunity to see the same kaleidoscope of tropical colors that scuba divers have traditionally paid hundreds of dollars to experience. Snorkeling and scuba are also available right off the shore of Laguna Reef Resort.
Surfing
The beaches and shorelines in Bocas del Toro offer some of the world’s best surfing, making the area a mandatory stop for the International Surfing Tour. Not to mention your favorite new surf spot.
Tennis
Playing tennis in the tropics is a great way to stay in shape. Laguna Reef Resort features lighted tennis/sport courts for your enjoyment.
