Travel; Day One
Upon arrival in Panama City, you’ll be greeted at the airport by a member of our friendly Coral Sands Development staff. After a fabulous local dinner with members of our staff and other Discovery Tour guests, you’ll be taken to the Country Inn and Suites on the Panama Canal.

Day Two
In the morning of the second day, you’ll visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the incredible Panama Canal. In addition to the tour and museum, you’ll enjoy a wonderful brunch overlooking the locks, while mega-tankers and passenger cruise ships pass beneath you. Later that afternoon, you’ll take a quick 50-minute flight to Isla Colon in Bocas del Toro. And that’ where the real fun starts.
After checking in at one of the island’s finest hotels, you’ll enjoy a sensational island dinner while watching the sunset from your waterfront table. An evening stroll or dip in the warm Caribbean waters provides the perfect end to this perfect day.

Day Three
Following a fresh island breakfast, you’ll take a short boat ride to Dolphin Bay, where you’ll watch the friendly local dolphins playing and feeding in Bocas’ crystal waters. After this unique and memorable experience, it’s off to the protected Marine Reserve of Crawl Key for some snorkeling among the colorful coral reefs and a chance to swim among an incredible array of tropical reef fish.
Next, you’ll head back to the hotel to freshen up before going to Laguna Reef for a relaxing afternoon and tour of the resort. For dinner, it’s back to Isla Colon for some fresh fruit and seafood at one of the fine oceanfront dining establishments in Bocas Town. Finally, discover the true meaning of tranquilo and island life by visiting some of the local clubs for great music and dancing.

Day Four
In the morning, you’ll visit one of Isla Bastimentos’ finest beaches, Red Frog Beach. Spend some time basking in the soothing tropical sun and splashing in the warm Caribbean waters, before enjoying a fresh lunch on the beach prepared by a local deli. Throughout the day, one or more Laguna Reef Resort principals will be available for your questions and comments.
You may even meet the local celebrity – the Red Dart Frog. Their tiny fluorescent red bodies are a sight to behold. Remember, however, that these intriguing little amphibians are strictly hands-off. Not only are they poisonous to the touch, these Bocas del Toro natives are also a protected species.
Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel in time to clean up for a late afternoon flight back to Panama City. After checking in at the luxurious downtown Radisson Towers Decapolis Hotel, you’ll head out to another fine restaurant in the heart of this modern city. Later, if you’re up to it, check out some of Panama City’s exciting metropolitan clubs for some music and dancing.

Travel Home; Day Five
In the morning, you’ll take a brief tour of this incredible and historic coastal city. It would take years to see everything, but we’ll make an effort to show you some of its finer highlights. There’s just enough time left for one last relaxing meal together before we return you to the airport for your afternoon flight back to the United States.
